I am still looking hard for alternatives but $79 for the Blocs App at version 2 with basic bugs and basic missing features seems like a questionable choice to jump to from mobirise. Again why do these developers continue to pump in features when the basics are not worked out? Why do these developers (Mobirise, Blocs, etc.) continue to move forward with features when basic css, etc., is riddled with bugs or issues? I don't know how many people are involved with mobirise, but blocs looks like a one man show, and it seems like he cant keep up either. Some of the finished user made sites posted there also look like they have issues? If you read through the forum there are many more and a lot of people complaining about basic features missing from the app. Mobirise user using blocs app, pointed out a basic issue that mobirise does not have
I don't want to jump from one buggy app (mobirise) to another (blocs app), that cant handle certain basic things.įound some recent posts on the Blocs user forum.
I too am really hoping to find something and saw the Blocs App, but sadly after a little investigation it seems to have basic bugs also.
Really getting tired also of all the new feature additions and yet not dealing with bugs in Mobirise. (*) "It is worth more to turn once red than a hundred times yellow" (not sure if that have sense in english lenguaje, in spanish mean somethig like "better to come clean") There will not be the first time, that I have to proceed like this with one innovative application. Of course I will be very carefull about which functions in this program are fully tested and which not. As I said before, me personally I plan to continue with MR hoping that, if they have been able to arrive till here, they will improve in corresponding aspects. I think that one thing has not to deny the other. We see here -in the forum- ppl gratefully about their webs made with MR. MR lets you create you editable web pages working in local and in any server.

"the site uses the theme that isn't available"Ģ) in mobirise, into the site settings, the voice "site location" show me the original path, also if i have exported the project in another folder also, if I open the project from my folder, MobiRise creates a duplicate of the project in his database (i see 2 identical sites).ģ) if in my project i insert the first block of the section "features" (4 columns - pictures with text below) and i use 4 vertical pictures, the white space above the images grows enormously (it is not sufficient to decrease the padding).Ĥ) style editor: when i open a project previously saved with a certain style, i can't see the correct style i need to switch to another project and then back to the previous to see the correct style.ĥ) re-naming the sites inside mobirise, the typed name is not assigned to the site that i'm editing, but to other sites!Ħ) if i use the "sticky menu" and the menu voices are linked to blocks inside the same page (it's a single-page site), the top of the linked blocks (title or part of text/picture) are hidden by the menu this does not happen in mobirise 2. I really love Mobirise, but the bugs are really too much, and they are increasing!ġ) in mobirise 3.06 if i load a project made with mobirise 2, this error occurred:
